Welcome to IIBA UK North West & East Branch
IIBA® is the international independent non-profit professional association for the growing field of business analysis. Its goal is to create greater awareness of the BA profession and recognition of the value of the business analyst role.
IIBA® NW/E branch is the means by which we intend achieve this goal in the north of England. We are based primarily in Manchester and Leeds, but over time we intend to service all business centres in the north including Chester, Liverpool, Preston, Lancaster, Hull, Bradford and Sheffield. The branch was formed in 2011 and now has a management team as follows:

Our first event was hosted by Shell Wythenshawe in October 2011, and attracted over 75 business analysis professionals from across the region. Presentations from IIBA UK board members and from business analysis experts from npower and Barclays were very well received, as were the buffet and networking opportunities: “an extremely valuable event”. We are currently planning events for 2012 and would welcome the following:
- new IIBA and branch members - new management team members
- offers to sponsor an event - offers to provide a venue for an event
- offers to speak at an event - suggestions for topics for events
