Welcome to IIBA South West Branch
IIBA is a non-profit professional association focussed on the development and professional recognition of the business analyst. It is run by a team of volunteers who work as practicing Business Analysts as their main occupation, whilst supporting IIBA in their spare time.
IIBA is a community-based professional association run by BAs for BAs.
The South West branch runs quarterly events across the region for individuals working in a broad range of functions – business analysis, systems analysis, requirements analysis or management, project management, consulting, process improvement and more. The events provide a platform for individuals to learn from presentations delivered by industry experts and Business Analysis thought leaders. Additionally they provide a great opportunity for networking, knowledge sharing, peer to peer review and staying in touch with key Business Analysis innovations.
Events are traditionally hosted by organisations with active Business Analysis populations within the South West. Prior hosts have included Sanderson, Intel and Nationwide; allowing attendees an insight of their particular brand of Business Analysis.
The South West branch encourages active involvement from its members and supporters including organisations. There are plenty of opportunities for getting involved including:
• Engaging on discussion on this forum, • Attending South West events, • Volunteering to help run the South West branch, • Speaking at a future event, • Or indeed offering to host a future event.
Please feel free to make contact with John Rainsbury to discover how you could help.
