The BA of the Year Award is your chance to highlight your achievements and champion the business analyst profession in your organisation, and beyond. This virtual event will explore the process of applying for the BA of the Year Award, as well as hearing first hand from previous winners and finalists on what their experience was like and how they have benefitted from the award.
The event will be hosted by Sean Murphy, a finalist in 2020 and current IIBA UK volunteer. Alongside Sean, will be 2022 winner Fae Marcano and finalist in both 2022 and 2023 Nicola Pinkney.
More About Our Hosts
Sean Murphy
Sean is an established Analysis Manager with over 12 years experience in Business Analysis. As well as being a finalist in the 2020 Business Analyst of the Year award, he is a dedicated committee member of the IIBA UK North branch and a volunteer for BA Life. He has a passion for all things innovative and loves spending time outside of work on either the golf course or behind a set of DJ turntables.
Fae Marcano
Fae has worked across various sectors, including legal services, energy, IT/digital and consulting for financial services. She has over 15 years of experience as a BA and portfolio analyst both in the UK and her home country of Venezuela. Fae was the winner of the BA of the Year award in 2022 and continues to contribute to the BA community through volunteering.
Nicola Pinkney
Nicola is currently working as an Enterprise Business Analyst at Evri. She enjoys attempting work outside her comfort zone whenever possible and tries to learn something new every day. Beyond her day-to-day role, Nicola volunteers with the YBA group to help other Young Business Analysts to develop their careers. She continues to develop her business analysis knowledge through both formal and informal learning and networking opportunities. Nicola was a finalist in the BA of the Year award 2 years in a row, in both 2022 and 2023.
