If your answer is “YES”, we’ve got exciting news!
We’re looking for volunteers to help develop the BA profession in the UK.
How to become a volunteer?
It’s simple! Just follow these 3 steps:
1️⃣ Register with IIBA (All volunteers must be IIBA Chapter members).
2️⃣ Sign a short confidentiality agreement. This ensures we handle sensitive information responsibly (e.g., membership data).
3️⃣ Email us your details, the project you’d like to join (or your new project idea), and the signed confidentiality agreement at Operations@uk.iiba.org
What does a volunteer role entail?
👉Enthusiasm!
👉The ability to step out of your comfort zone and handle ambiguity.
👉A shared interest in establishing the chapter as a networking hub for BAs in the UK.
👉Collaborating directly with a sponsoring director and liaising with other board members as required.
👉A time commitment of 1-2 hours a week over a 3-month trial period.
👉All volunteers must be IIBA Chapter members.
What do our volunteers do?
Our amazing team of volunteers supports IIBA UK by keeping the chapter running smoothly. Here are just a few of the activities you could get involved in:
✨Updating the website, including adding details of upcoming events.
✨Coordinating and executing marketing campaigns.
✨Proposing, organising, and running events across five UK branches – with dedicated branch committees running four of them!
✨Supporting longer-term strategic initiatives.
✨Working on knowledge management initiatives.
💡 Got an idea for a project that would benefit the BA community in the UK?
We’d love to hear from you! You can even lead a team to make it a reality.
