About the Speakers:
Shay Lowndes
I started at NFU Mutual as a Business Analyst Apprentice right after Sixth Form in September 2022, completing the apprenticeship scheme in early August 2024, and I am now a fully qualified Business Analyst.
Rachael Craig
I joined NFUM in 2018 on the Business Analyst Apprenticeship Scheme as part of a career move. Since completing the scheme in 2020, I have worked on a variety of projects across General Insurance and Financial Services, where I continue to enhance my skills.
Chris Lamb
Joined NFU Mutual as an Underwriting graduate 24 years ago. I have worked across the business in Learning & Development, Process Improvement & now 8 years a Business Analyst and have helped several apprentices successfully qualify.
Joe Darvill
I joined NFUM in 2022 as a business analyst. Since joining I have worked primarily on a large transformation project focused on replacing NFUM’s current policy administration system. Prior to that I completed a business analysis focused graduate scheme at NatWest and progressed on to working as a business analyst within the mortgages domain.
Pardeep (aka Paddy) Dhanda
Agile Practice Director & Podcast Host
Paddy Dhanda is the Agile Practice Director at QA and is the former Head of Agile Learning for a global investment bank where he rolled out Agile education to over 100k agilists. He has specialised as an Agile practitioner since 2004, taking on various product delivery roles including Head of Business Analysis, Chief Product Owner, Agile Trainer and Coach. He is also a guest lecturer at the University of Birmingham delivering the MBA programme.
Paddy regularly presents at conferences around the world and is also passionate about creativity and visual thinking. He is the host of the Superpowers School podcast helping people build better human skills for the future to thrive in today’s fast paced world. Paddy aspires to follow Gandhi’s mantra “the best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”
