With more than 25 years of experience in business analysis, Andrew Duncan is now an Analysis Manager at Royal London, where he focuses on turning analytical insight into meaningful outcomes for customers. He’s passionate about helping others grow in their analytical careers and is increasingly exploring how AI can enhance the way analysts work. What began two years ago as curiosity has become a genuine passion project - finding practical, ethical and empowering ways for AI to support the craft of business analysis.
 
Luke Powner, Royal London Group
 
 
Luke Powner is a Senior Business Analyst with 9 years’ experience across Royal London. He’s passionate about making AI accessible to everyone who can benefit, which is almost everyone. Luke champions practical, human-centred adoption to avoid poorly implemented, low-value automation, or ‘AI Slop’. He brings a grounded, real-world perspective on how analysts can guide responsible AI use to unlock meaningful business value.
 
Mark Cross, Envista Consulting Ltd
 

 
Mark Cross is a cybersecurity business analyst, strategist and founder of Envista Consulting, with over 25 years' experience in IT transformation. He specialises in helping change programmes embed security early—bridging the gap between business analysis and cybersecurity in industries including finance, telecoms, law, and bioinformatics.
 
In 2024, he founded the global Cyber Special Interest Group (Cyber SIG) within the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), where he leads international collaboration across regions to bring cybersecurity, privacy, and resilience into the mainstream of business change practice. Known for blending technical insight with stakeholder awareness, Mark regularly speaks at conferences on topics including the responsible use of AI, post-quantum data security, and management of innovation risk.

Sakina Haque is a business analysis veteran with over 20 years’ experience, holding the CBAP designation since 2012. Career highlights include visiting the data centre of a SaaS company in her first agile role, being invited into Queensland Rail's control centre after the morning peak as part of an operational review and developing processes with airport ground crew to support Virgin Australia's first mobile check-in functionality. On a personal note, Sakina is committed to environmental sustainability in her home life.
