AI Insights: Prompt Engineering — now on YouTube

Our first AI Insights session sold out on 5 March. The full recording is now available on the IIBA UK YouTube channel!

Led by Bronia Anderson-Kelly, Gill Dunn, and Kurian Panjikaran, this hands-on session covered how better prompting leads to better BA outcomes — including LLM fundamentals, practical prompt demos, whiteboard activities, and peer discussion. No specific tools or prior knowledge required.

As we close the year and look ahead to 2025, let’s take a moment to reflect on some of the moments that made 2024 truly remarkable for IIBA UK Chapter. 🌟

From inspiring workshops, networking socials, and the annual BA Conference to thought-provoking talks by industry leaders, the launch of the BA Book Club, and the BA Survey, this year was filled with opportunities to learn, connect, and grow as a community.

🌟 A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated volunteer team for their incredible efforts and to all BA practitioners who joined us on this journey.

Thank you to all attendees of the 16th Annual Business Analysis Conference, which took place from the 16th to the 18th of September. With a remarkable turnout of 580 attendees from 33 countries, the event has once again affirmed its status as the global gathering for Business Analysts.
 
It was our pleasure to meet and greet some of our members in person and share Chapter’s news and information about the upcoming events.
 
Big round of applause goes out to all involved in the conference organization: AssistKD, BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT, IRM UK, IIBA UK, and the Conference Advisory Board, whose support played a pivotal role in making this event a success.
