Our volunteers are the heart of IIBA UK — everything we do is powered by people giving their time alongside their day jobs. We're delighted to recognise the following individuals and teams.

A great BBC Bitesize piece by tech expert Christina Lovelock busts the myth that tech is all coding — and features the business analyst as one of five roles that don't involve writing code. It's described as a brilliant role for people who are "always curious." Sound familiar?

Well worth a read if you're a student, graduate, or considering a move into the profession.

The Business Analysis Conference Europe returns to London on 21–23 September, and this year's keynote lineup is one of the strongest yet.

Four speakers, four very different lenses on the forces reshaping our profession — data, AI, leadership, and resilience👇.

Missed our fourth AI Insights session? The recording is now available on the IIBA UK YouTube channel.

Facilitated by Bindu Channaveerappa and Kitty Hung, this hands-on workshop explored how BAs can embed security, ethics, and governance into AI initiatives — through realistic scenarios covering biased algorithms, data poisoning, compromised testing, and more. Participants left with a practical framework and actionable tools for building trustworthy AI.

Missed Karthik Ravichandran's session? The recording is now available on the IIBA UK YouTube channel.

Using the playful metaphor of Snakes and Ladders, Karthik shares a practical approach to the unpredictable setbacks and breakthroughs of stakeholder engagement — covering empathy-led communication, reflective journaling, AI-assisted insights, and knowing when to escalate. The result: shorter "snakes," longer "ladders," and stakeholders guided toward shared success.

No editing is required. No special equipment is needed. A phone recording is more than sufficient.

AI Insights: AI & Requirements Elicitation — now on YouTube

The second AI Insights session sold out on 16 April. The recording is now live on the IIBA UK YouTube channel.

Facilitated by Shobin Vincent, this session tackled where AI genuinely enhances elicitation and where your expertise remains irreplaceable.
