Over the last six months, Loan has been central to building and developing the IIBA UK Operations Team. As the team has grown, she has done more than was asked of her - helping shape how the team works, picking up tasks without being asked, and delivering every time.
She has been especially good at bringing new volunteers into the team. Loan makes new people feel welcome and gives them the guidance and confidence to get involved quickly and stay involved. A lot of the team's progress over this period comes down to that support.
She has played a pivotal role in reinvigorating our Operations Support team, bringing fresh energy, clarity, and engagement to a group that is now thriving under her influence. Her consistency, reliability, and willingness to step in wherever needed have made a tangible difference to our chapter's ability to operate smoothly.
Loan is also an enthusiastic mentor. She has reviewed CVs and taken time out to craft development plans to help graduates move into BA roles, sharing her expertise and knowledge generously and encouraging others to get involved in team activities.
Put simply, Loan is reliable, driven, and embodies the spirit of service that keeps IIBA UK moving forward. The team can depend on her, and the Operations Team would not be where it is today without her. Thank you!
Jason has made a strong contribution to IIBA's regional engagement across the North, particularly within Yorkshire and Humber.
Despite a busy schedule, Jason has remained highly committed and dependable. He has been a key driving force in supporting speaker engagement, event hosting opportunities and wider community connections across the region.
Jason is always willing to help, whether by reaching out through his network, identifying potential speakers, supporting event planning, or helping the team access the right resources. His positive attitude and readiness to contribute have made him a valuable support to the North Branch.
Jason also jointly coordinated and facilitated the last North planning day session, helping to shape regional priorities and strengthen volunteer engagement. His contribution has helped move the North Branch forward and deserves to be recognised.

Over the last six months this team has taken on the work of building the Operations Team from the ground up - collaborating and engaging the volunteers, shaping new ways of working, bringing new volunteers in, and keeping things running behind the scenes. Much of it is the kind of work that goes unnoticed when it is done well, and this team has done it well.
Every one of them gives their time voluntarily, alongside jobs and everything else, and the Chapter is in a stronger position because of it. Thank you all!
Elaine has been instrumental in reviving IIBA's presence and engagement across Scotland. Through her consistency, commitment and leadership, she helped rebuild momentum in a region where activity had been quiet for some time.
Over the past year, Elaine helped organise the first Scotland Branch volunteers planning day. This brought volunteers together to co-create a branch initiative plan aligned with the wider IIBA UK national agenda. The outcome was a strong and practical plan for 2026, followed by continued effort to move the plan into execution.
Under Elaine's leadership, IIBA's connection with the local business analysis community in Scotland has been refreshed and strengthened. As she steps down this month, she leaves behind a stronger foundation for future engagement, volunteer participation and regional growth. Her contribution has been meaningful and deserves to be recognised!
