As we continue to strengthen our chapter’s impact, we’d like to take a moment to recognise the contributions of two incredible board members and welcome a new leader to the team.

Please join us in thanking James and Alison for their fantastic service, and in giving a warm welcome to Kayode as he steps into this exciting new role.

Together we move forward with purpose, collaboration, and community at the heart of everything we do!

First, we bid a fond farewell to James Compton, our Director of Professional Development. James has been instrumental in running and facilitating our highly regarded mentorship scheme, making positive impacts to numerous analysts in their growth journey. His thoughtful leadership and dedication will be deeply missed, and we thank him for everything he’s brought to IIBA UK.

As we look ahead, I’m delighted to welcome Kayode Adedigba as our new Communities Director (North & Scotland). Kayode brings a wealth of enthusiasm and experience to the board, and is passionate about representing the voices of professionals across Northern England and Scotland. He is eager to build connections, curate engaging regional events, and contribute to our mission of strengthening the business analysis profession.

  Welcome message from Kayode:

“I’m thrilled to join the IIBA UK Board as the Communities Director for Scotland & North. With nearly two decades of experience in business analysis, demand planning, and digital transformation across Africa and Europe, I’m passionate about building communities that connect, empower, and inspire.

 My focus will be on:

  • Creating inclusive and accessible spaces for BAs across Northern England and Scotland to share, learn, and grow

  • Championing professional development through impactful events, partnerships, and local engagement

  • Collaborating to shape a community that reflects our diverse voices and needs

Whether you’re just starting out or a seasoned BA, I look forward to building something meaningful with you. Let’s raise the bar together!”
