The Milestone

Join your local Birmingham community for a landmark celebration! We are coming together to honour a dual milestone: the 20th Anniversary of IIBA UK and Global BA Day . This is a nationwide moment to recognize the people, passion, and progress that have helped defined our profession for two decades.

While the main event is a hybrid "Fireside Chat" hosted live in London, our regional hub is bringing the energy to Birmingham. We aren't just watching a screen; we are participating in a national movement.

The Program: Three Chats, One Profession

We will gather to stream the official broadcast, featuring three deep-dive discussions into the past, present, and future of Business Analysis:

• Chat 1: The Presidents' Perspective – Hear from past and present IIBA UK Chapter Presidents as they reflect on the leadership challenges, defining moments, and the evolution of our organization over the last 20 years.
• Chat 2: Building Community (The Regional Story) – A celebration of how the BA community lives beyond London. We will hear stories of resilience and creativity from regional leaders about forging connections across the country.
• Chat 3: The Next Era – A look ahead at the future of our craft, exploring how emerging technologies and changing organizational needs are reshaping the role of the Business Analyst.

The Highlight: The "Regional Finale" Interactive Poll

This is where our local hub takes centre stage! During the "Regional Finale," London will pose "One Big Question" about the future of the profession.

Our Birmingham attendees will respond simultaneously via a live poll (using Slido/Mentimeter). Our local results will stream back to the London screen in real-time, allowing our regional voices to be heard and discussed on the national stage alongside all other UK regions.

The Local Social: Connection & Conversation

The celebration continues long after the webinar ends! Following the broadcast, the Birmingham hub will host an in-person social session.

We will provide food and refreshments to facilitate an evening of local networking. This is your opportunity to unwind, share your own "BA stories," and strengthen the connections within our local Birmingham community.

Who Should Attend?

This event is open to everyone! Whether you are an IIBA UK member, a student, a newcomer to the field, or a seasoned practitioner, we want you there to help us celebrate.
