As Head of Business Analysis & Architecture at Methods, he’s built a strong business analysis practice that’s delivered real impact across government departments like the Home Office and the Department for Education. Gavin’s passionate about using business architecture to connect strategy to delivery and make change stick — by applying it as a practical, collaborative approach to solving tough problems.

The Authors

Debra Paul

 
 
Debra Paul is the CEO of Assist Knowledge Development Ltd, a training and consultancy company specialising in business analysis, service design and business architecture. Debra has co-authored several publications including Business Analysis, Agile and Business Analysis and Delivering Business Analysis, and created the BA Service Framework.

Debra is a keen advocate of business architecture, service science and design thinking, and is a regular speaker at business seminars and IS industry events. She is a visiting fellow at Henley Business School. Debra has delivered keynote presentations at numerous conferences, is a founder member of the BA Manager Forum and was the chief architect of the Advanced International Diploma in Business Analysis.
 

Jonathan Hunsley
 

 
Jonathan Hunsley is the Service Development Director for Assist Knowledge Development Ltd. Jonathan has worked in a variety of roles across the financial services and consultancy sectors. He specialises in business architecture, business analysis and service design.

Jonathan is a Chartered IT Professional and the lead assessor for the BCS Advanced International Diploma in Business Analysis. He holds an MBA and the Expert Business Analysis Award. He is a regular speaker at international conferences and has contributed to a variety of publications such as Business Analysis (Paul and Cadle, 2020), and Business Analysis Techniques (Cadle et al, 2021).

He is a regular contributor to the BA Brew Podcast, co-founded the SD Forum for Service Designers, and was the chief architect of the A4Q Certified Service Designer award.
